Solar Batteries

Solar batteries store energy generated from your solar power system for use when you need it, through an inverter. Though the use of deep cycle batteries is more common in Off Grid solar systems, you could also use them in a grid connected solar power system. Batteries used in solar power systems are specially designed with deep-cycle cells which are much less susceptible to degradation due to cycling, and are required for applications where the batteries are regularly discharged. We have several brands and types of solar batteries to choose from, including lead-acid and sealed. There are three types of batteries that are most popularly used in solar electric systems: Flooded Lead Acid, Absorbed Glass Mat Sealed Lead Acid (AGM), and Gelled Electrolyte Sealed Lead Acid.
